November News 2016
Here’s what’s happening this month in Mrs. Diaz’s 1st Grade…
Thank you, families, for joining us for the Springs School Halloween Parade in October. The kids loved showing off their costumes & we certainly enjoyed the special lunch, making apple crisp with our class and all of the many treats that came to us in October. Thanks to all of you who shared something with us last month. This month it would be fun to bake something in class again. If you are interested in helping with a November Baking activity, or reading a special story to our class, or bringing in a Thanksgiving craft in to share with us, let us know right away and we will put you on the schedule. November is a full month and it will go fast, so let me know soon! November conference times are all scheduled. I will send home appointment reminders soon. Don’t forget this month we celebrate P.A.R.P. (Parents as Reading Partners). Be sure to keep track of your shared reading and send in your P.A.R.P. slip each Monday this month for a P.A.R.P. prize.
